Great of you to try to help that parent with housing needs. But a shelter, or transitional home, may be the only options. Another one, less common, will be emergency vouchers to pay for a motel room, which rarely some charities or housing agencies offer.

Hello, I am a successful Mentor Coordinator at P.S. 335 Granville T. Woods in Crown Height. I got a parent at my school in a need of serous assistance because at the place she resides at was vandalizes by other tenants in the apartment.
She stays at and her wall is completely off and she pays cash. Then she makes police report about it and nobody is not doing nothing about it and that why I am reaching out to you to help my parent that in a need of emergency assistance. She never been back at the place of what happen so she been staying from place to place at friend’s house.
My parent don't want to go to the shelter and she needs a place to find right away. The tenants were she stays at made death threats to her and she been under a lot of stress for over 3 weeks already.
