Disability being reviewed by council

Hello my name is Lee and I need help paying my rent as my disability case is under review.
I own my own business doing welding, my only truck has broken down for last 4 months as it needs a new motor.
I have been struggling to pay my bills since I don't have the money for a new motor. I just received my S.N.A.P benefits a few weeks ago. Me and wife applied for anything that we were eligible for which she filed for emergency social security disability which I not sure if I'm eligible for as legal aid takes a look at case.
We are still a month behind in rent only because I borrowed my wife's cousin's truck which I have to return in a week.
I pay $2000 a month in rent I'm in dire need for a voucher or anything that will help me get my rent paid and/or a truck that I can continue my occupation with would be so wonderful and weight would be off my mind. I'm 60 years old and don't know what to do. Thank you!

I am writing this e-mail on behalf of my husband who had a disability
hearing before and ACL law judge and was turned down. It is now going
before the council review which could take another 11 months. He has
been out of work since 4/2011. He received long term disability from
his employer for a year. We could not afford cobra payments and lost
health insurance.
We applied for Obama care and now receive health
benefits. We are out of money, can't pay bills, get food assistance
and behind on our mortgage. I need to know what programs can help us
until we get a council review decision. Everything we worked so hard
for is disappearing. Jewelry has been sold, vehicles are next. My
husband is deteriorating and on top of all his pain he does not feel
like a man because he cannot provide for his family.
