Hey Abbey that stinks about your mom. Why was the car towed, like is it in an impound lot or something? Those fees would add up quick at $60 / day and that sounds really hard. If it is an impound issue, there may be some options for you to get money or even charity help for getting it out of the impound as listed here.

Hi, my name is Abbey. My mother needs money for free and financial assistance with getting her only car back from being towed and we have all been out of work and sick with multiple types of the Flu since Thanksgiving. She didn’t have enough money to have it towed back to our house and now the owner of the parking lot just randomly towed it without giving us any information beforehand or even to where it’s been towed to. She was going to get it towed on Monday, but unfortunately we all got sick and haven’t had a chance to do much since. They said the tow will be $360 today and an additional $60 everyday that it sits there. We don’t have this kind of money to be doing this, no one would help us out at all before it got to this point and we are very desperate for a program to give us some of that free because we have no other vehicle now. Is there anyway I can get some information about any help that can be done? Thank you so much, I appreciate it.

Hi Lindsey,
You have not worked in ~5 years? How is that even possible or why did you not plan for eventually running out of money? But if you some ideas or a source of funds, we have information dedicated to that on our
free money section. While of course this is not simple / easy to get, there are some possibilities.

My name is Lindsey and I have been working with children since 2005. I was laid off due to COVID - 19 in 2020. My husband is retired and is currently on SSI. Our monthly income is unmanageable and our emergency funds have run their course and we need money! I plan on returning to teaching; however, life has thrown some obstacles in our way. My husband is carrying the weight these last few years and we are struggling. We lost our home, our car, and he needs my help with some financial support. We were able to rebuild our foundations; however, we DO NOT want to lose what we have worked so very hard for. We do not want to face homeless and are humbly requesting some emergency money.
We are in need of some financial, EMERGENCY assistance before we come homeless. Please let me know how you can partner up with me. I would love to create an intricate partnership with you. Let me know how I can bless you in the future whether through volunteering, future donors. and future partnerships woven in my schools with principals, teachers, partners, and students. LETS DO THIS TOGETHER!!!!
This is a time sensitive matter, so please respond immediately!!!!

Good Afternoon -I am reaching out, I am in need of some money on rather short notice. I have had some difficulties with getting all my bills paid, and due to this my car has been repossessed. They are offering to reinstate my loan if I can bring it current, however I need close to $2000 in money that I can’t make and need for free to make that happen, if not they will be auctioning my car on September 30.
Could you please direct me to the best resources for money that can assist or even loan me money to get this done? Without my car I am unable to get to work reliably, and if I lose my job then I'm really going to be in trouble. I look forward to hearing back from you, thanks!

Hello, my name is Geri and my grandmother recently passed away. Her home was given to my mother who was living with my sister. It was a crowded living space for my sister and my mother, a grown child to grandkids and three younger children of mine.
So me and my boyfriend are in the process of purchasing a camper, which we need money for too. As we have one more payment to make but are short of cash and can't make it till Tuesday. My mother has given us money to stay in a hotel for the night however we were wanting to request maybe a hotel voucher or more money for the next two nights. At least until we make our last payment on our camper. How can we get free cash for these needs?

For the people seeking resources here about where to get "free" money, yes, it exists. But of course, like much in life, there are issues and more to it. For example, there may be so called free from energy assistance programs like LIHEAP (or whatever your state names it). Or from government grant programs for small businesses. Another programs can be Section 8 housing which is funds to pay the rent or free money for food (from a food bank), etc. So, as much in life, it it complicated and depends on what people mean. All that being said, look here for more details on
where free money is available from.

I am in desperate need of money. I suffer from a broken neck back and one third of my skull has been replaced with a plate. I've lost vision in my right eye, and if there is really free money it will help me as I recover. Our the programs still available? I suffer from PTSD anxiety and hypertension from a bad car wreck and I have lost everything I have no transportation, no home, no money and no family to help. I am in recovery now but find my self homeless unable to work and without any money. I'm lost and don't know how to get help or what type of programs are still available to give me free money. It's raining I'm freezing and starving. Any assistance would be a God send. Ty and hope to hear any news immediately.

We have a number of programs that give out money. Of course they all have applications, funds are generally for low-income families, and there are other conditions. But look here for free money.

Good Evening, I am currently in the Raleigh Area seeking money or some form of help for me and my family. I have a wife (33) of 3 years and 5 children (14,12,5,4,2 ) . While I am currently seeking work to get some money for us and have secured some viable options, essentials like work shoes & pants have been hard to come across.
My wife works also from home but with the high cost of the hotel we are left with little to no money. Tomorrow the manager has given us no option or extension and I am afraid I might end up out on the street with my wife and children. I need any possible help whether - it's a few nights or even other resources or places that give out free money that are available to people in my situation. I don't want to lose my children to cold and hunger during this holiday season so if you could help me I would greatly appreciate it. We can be reached on either number or email

My name is Jennifer. I am disabled from MS and PTSD. I live alone and on a fixed income and need more money, hopefully from those free money places I read about. The other day I came out of Walmart and my only means of transportation wouldn’t start. I had to use my rent money to get it towed to Honda. This cost me 120.00. So I need funds to pay that and money for other bills.
Honda explains to me my car needs the immobilizer replaced. The cost they said would be 159.00 for diagnostic test and 800.00 plus tax and fees. I don’t have the money and now can’t pay this months rent. I need money to get my car to get to medical appointments, the store, vet, and the dentist. The day after this happened I had an appointment at the dentist because I have a broken tooth that is causing pain. Now the pain is very bad but I can’t get their.
I live alone. I have no family and I have no friends to call on. I free money as I need my car fixed bad. My anxiety is up because this my only way to get anywhere. I have no one to help me. I had to use again this months rent to have cat food and litter delivered because of not having a car. Please help me find assistance ASAP. I can’t leave my car sitting at Honda either so that’s more money. Please please help me.

No such thing as "Free money" and people just handing you something. You need to apply to charities. Use smart phone apps or coupons. Play games for cash. Apply to government grants and on and on. It requires time and effort....like everything in life. And of course most require people to start to become self-sufficient. But seems like you want the game route as far as making a few dollars. Look here for information on getting paid to play games.

Dear Jon,
I'm writing today to find out what, if any, free money programs are available to people who are barely holding on. I see plenty for those already in crisis or making "low income assistance" a lifestyle. I have no employment gaps in 30 years and am currently employed. I have an 8 year old daughter that I have part time. I uphold my financial duties to her and her mother to the tune of $720 a month. I gladly pay, no issue. However in the last few years with everything going on, financially speaking, it's a mess. I'm just trying to keep the lights on and roof over my head. I'm not looking for hand outs or "free money". Just a hand up from this mess with the full intention of repaying any program (if any exist) for those of us who have desperately tried to do things the right way and not just siphon off the system.

Umm...free money? Why do so many people think this exists. Or just email someone for some cash. Instead there is aid available from a number of possible sources, all with their own application processes, terms and conditions, and criteria. It is usually considered to be a grant as well. We have an entire article correcting this misconception, and read more on the
free money application process, and what it is all about.

Well, that is good that you are not seeking free money. As depending on what exactly you mean, it really does not exist. But there are grants and other forms of support that may help you in your dilemma. They are emergency only programs, and find some details on
free grants and other funds that may assist.

I am trying to see if I can get help, such as free money. We live in Sevierville and my only car transmission blew up and I have 4 middle school kids that I am trying to get to school. I am on disability, so money is low, and having a lot of health issues at present. I am supposed to go to doctor Friday regarding my blood clots. But I have no way to get there and my husband is supposed to start a job in the morning but has no way to get there. Is their anyway you know of any help I can get free money from?

Hello, I recently lost my job of 15 years. I hate to ask but I need assistance. I have a mortgage and kids and a wife that adores and need me to provide for them. I'm trying to go to school to get a realtors license and open a business to help low income families and senior citizens, vets etc. Please help me, I'll do my due diligence and my part, I'm not just trying to get free money. It will be put it to good use. Thanks in advance.

Dear Sirs:
I am interested in any grant programs that offer low interest loans.
I have been to housing court because my Landlord would like me
to vacate the apartment. My child support payments ended a year
ago and it was a large source of income. Since then I have not
been able to pay all of my rent. The Housing Court has already
given me an extension of 4 and 1/2 months. My court stipulation says
that I must vacate the apartment by September 30, 2015.
I would need assistance with the first, security rent and possibly
broker's fees.
Thank you in advance for any programs that I can contact in
the Bronx, New York area.

I have two kids and need some free money or free grants to help me pay my rent and for food. Where do I turn to for this aid, or ways to get free money? Any advice. The internet has hundreds of sites about free money grants for bills and rent, but they all want me to pay for the info. I can't afford to pay them. Options for me?

Free money does exist, but maybe not what you think. Free money is really money you save. For example, if you are overpaying on car insurance by $100. if you get a new insurance carrier that $100 saved is "free money". Free money is saving 30% by using a free prescription discount card, etc. Here are some of the top money saving tips for free cash.
