Can I get a personal loan?

Post by Krampus »

I didn't realize I owed back vehicles taxes back from 2013. My son and I both work at a medium wage and now how can get my plate renewed to even drive to work. I have been apparently driving on an expired plate since last August when I learned this is when I had taken my younger daughter to the ER and went through a safety check point which officer informed me that I have been driving on an expired tag for five months.
I don't know what to do if my income tax wouldn't be till the middle of February 2026. I could use that money from a personal loan to pay a 500.00-dollar tax bill. I can't get my plates renewed I have applied for credit cards and do has my spouse and neither could get a credit limit.
Our hours a work has been cut due to slow winter months. I can't lose my job, and I don't receive any food stamps or free childcare. I pretty much work for a day care bill and health insurance. We are barely making it I have tried to get help from the state only to be told we make too much. I clear maybe 15 dollars a day at work after I pay for day care and insurance and weekly doc bills and I have to pay such a big Co pay on my prescriptions. We have tried for a personal loan and can't get it not even for three weeks. I can pay it back when my taxes come to me, please help me.

Re: Thoughts on using a personal loan to pay impound fees.

Post by Tairod »

Do you have anyone who could possibly help me with some financial assistance to get my impound fees paid? I would be happy to use a loan and repay any funds given. My car was stolen, then recovered.
The person who stole the car was arrested and the car was impounded and was held for one day for "evidence hold" the hold was released but I did not have the 219.68$. Is using a loan a good idea here?
They were demanding in storage and towing fees to be able to return my car to me. The cost goes up every day by 20$. I am on disability and have congestive heart failure and live check to check and I don't even get paid until 7/3.
I cant go get any food with my car in impound. I can't go pick up my medications as I live in an area with no public transportation. Why am I as the victim of a crime being deprived of my property because I'm unable to pay? I have 10$ cash on hand and the car is out of gas in the impound yard. My checking account is negative 100.00 right now and I just got a disconnect notice from the the electric company. Please help with a loan or cash.

Thoughts on using a personal loan to pay impound fees.

Post by JordyNelson »

Hello!
My name is Greta, I live in Hyannis. I'm contacting you today in desperate need for help. My car was impounded on April 16th and I'm trying to save money to contribute to the fees. Or take a loan out as I will have money in a couple weeks. Would paying impound fees but a good idea for a personal loan? I will lose my job if not one assists me with the impound fees. Right now, the tow company is $700. I recently obtained a really good job and will be working as a counselor for clients with neurological disorders. I studied Human Service in college and this is my first job experience working in the field.
I'm currently staying at St. Joseph's shelter in Hyannis. This agency is very important to me. I love helping others. I'd love a chance to contribute to improving the quality of life of someone in need.
I will be able to maintain car insurance and save for a place of my own. I'm working hard to become self suffieicnt. and this position will significantly help my living situation.
I am committed to paying off the impound fees with my first pay check, or paying off the personal loan. Or what other options do I have?
I wanted to apply for financial assistance for car insurance. In two weeks I'll hopefully earn enough to release my car from impound. Once I'm able to afford the bill, I need to activate a new insurance policy. The total amount is $330.00.
I would like to know if it's a possibility to receive financial help, I'd greatly appreciate any help or resources.
Thank you so much, I look forward to your response

Seems like a wide variety of requests for different types of personal loans and uses for them...cars. vacations, debt consolidation or what not. Always read the fine print of any application closely, and be careful what the money is spent on. As it can be all too common for low income families or people to get into a debt spiral. But find details on loans to get.

Since no job, no bank account, but still need a loan it will be hard to say the least. Also try a charity grant. But as far as a loan, look here for
loans for people with no bank account.

Good evening,
My question is regarding a 14 day notice to pay my rent and hope a personal loan for my rental home will help. I’ve been unemployed due to the pandemic since March 17th. My husband lost his job as well and he and I have been on unemployment. He just returned to work 3 weeks ago. We have been sending a $1000 and $500 on a weekly basis but have no way of coming up with this amount of arrears in 14 days, so a short term home personal loan will help.
Are we able to receive any legal assistance in this matter?

Hello,
My name is Shawanda Jones and I'm a single mother of three. I am in need of a personal loan to pay for a car so that I can keep my job as well as support my kids by attending school events, supports activities, community events. The car I had for only five months which I was making payments on has a blown engine which will cost 5400.00 to repair. I am not looking for a hand out I am willing to work from the hours of 4pm to 10pm to pay off the personal loan. I already work 715am to 315pm as a childcare teacher. If you can help me in any way that would be great. If not thank you for your time and you have a Wonderful day.

My family is about to lose what little we have due to being off work for injury and illness for several months. Is there anything that you can do or donate to help? It's just myself, my wife, and our 6 year old daughter. We were unsuccessful in getting any personal loans or help from our local and government resources. Anything will help. Thanks so very much!

I am looking for some kind of personal loan to help catch up my house payment which is $5362.00. Also two other bills that come to $1200.09. I tried to get loans but I only make $851.00 a month on SSD.
My husband got a pay cut of $400 a pay. Once I catch them up I should be ok. I tried for a home loan modification but all they will do for me is have me pay $300 more a month on my payment for 11 months but that's more then we can afford right now. Is there any loan you can help me get?

Since you indicated you have a car and a job, maybe try a title loan. But only do this if you will pay off the lender with your next paycheck. Be sure to shop around for rates and most importantly, origination fees as you only need the money for a week or so. But even this should be a very last option. Can't the husbands father provide money for the 3 minor kids? Anyway, if you insist, find information on automobile title loans.

I just left an abusive relationship because it had got so bad. I'm having a hard time finding affordable rent for me and my 2 children. My father will give me a personal loan for security but I am currently unemployed though I am a hard worker and eager to work but can't afford daycare and rent. It seems completely impossible. I am a lovely mother but feel hopeless and lost. Please help guide me if there is something out there to help me and my children. Thank you in advance.

Got with paperwork in hand to the lending institute and ask them to explain this to you. I hope you aren't entangled with a predatory lender but if they can't explain it to you, red flags. If it is high interest and long repayment you will not see payment go towards the principle for a while. In addition if you are late they will take the late fees first so you may not see the principle shrink. Go to your state's attorney generals office if you can't get the answers you seek.

To whom this may concern,
I would like information about a personal loan that I have. I have been making regular payments for almost two years but have not seen my balance decrease. I looked into my payment history and noticed that every payment that I have made the majority has been applied to interest and several payments all of the payment went to interest and nothing to the balance itself. I'm not sure if this is legal and would like to find out what I can do about this. Please help. Thank you.

I am a single mother with 3 minor children at home, who is soon to be displaced on July 1st. we have been at this residence for 4 1/2 years and the land lord wants to place it on the market and has offered to sell it to me for as long as I have been here, however, income property seems a difficult loan.

At any rate, I have been able to manage the rent up until recently as I have been enrolled as a full time college student at an online University. Just a short distance away from receiving a BA, my school loans in which I have been using to pay rent are no longer available. My low-income job does not provide enough for a traditional loan. I wish I had looked into other options before, however, my situation is now desperate. Being displaced with no available money to even move into a small overpriced apartment is a scary place to be. If I can at least set something in motion for the future, I can get back to school finish the last 5 classes, get my degree and a better job. Transition is always difficult.

Hello. I am interested in the small loan for temporary help, since I am not working at this time. I live in Parsippany, NJ. I will be working again, and getting a paycheck on September15th. My last paycheck was June 30th. I went through a bankruptcy and it discharged on Feb. 21, 2012. I have tried modification, hope, and HAMP and they all say no. My loan was originated in 2010, and they say this is a problem. Please email me concerning this. Thank you.

Anytime we hear a personal loan we tremble. If you are working again, then you have income, so do not take out a personal loan. It will just put you further behind. We recommend people start by checking in with a non-profit credit counseling in Pennsylvania first, before taking out any additional loans. They may have other options, can provide you advice on how to budget, and other help.

I would appreciate any information you might have to offer regarding where I could obtain such a loan with less than stellar credit. Feel free to contact me via email. Thank you for your time.

Well, you can maybe pay off those debts with a personal loan, but only do that if the interest rate is less than your current 15%. So for example,if you can get a personal loan for 10%, then those founds can pay off your 15% debts, and you in effect save 5% per year, or about $50 per year. But always read the fine print, and only do this if the rate on your new loan is less than 15%. Find a bunch of information about personal loans, peer to peer lending, and other loan products here.
