What state, as Fannie Mae does have several centers around the nation that can provide free counseling, loan modifications, and foreclosure prevention advice and services. In the meantime, find a ton of mortgage and foreclosure relief programs here.

Many options from the federal government, your state, non-profits, and charities can help really anyone pay their home loan and get back on track with their mortgage payments. I think some even support veterans and military personnel. You did ask for help early enough before your July auction, which is great, as most people don't. Just keep calling agencies and looking into programs.
