Hello, I hope all is well for whomever reads this email.
I'm Sabrina, I live in California and am a single mother of a 3 y.o. His father is in the picture and we co-parent, but doesn't help with anything financial whatsoever.
I'm looking for information on emergency low income housing, in a decent area where I live. as well as any programs that I could apply for, for wifi, food, and pretty much anything that may be able to give emergency help me and my son.
I do have a full time job, that is about a 2 hour drive from where I live currently. and just applied for a program in a MTI college. I've also had to get a newer car because mine broke down and it would cost more to fix it rather than get a new car. This has completely depleted my savings and now I don't know how I'll be able to cover my portion of rent on top of the car insurance and the new car payment and everything else that I have to do (food on the table, new clothes for a rapidly growing boy, ect.)
I know this is a lot, I just need help and honestly don't know where else to turn at this point.

My family needs help with everything. My husband's disability was stopped because they said they never got a form back proving he was still disabled! I sent 2 and still haven't paid us. We are now behind on all our bills, we can't buy food and we have no money.

I am trying to get information on who I can contact for Emergency rental assistance, emergency assistance to help pay utility bills, and emergency Christmas assistance (if available). This is emergency everything!.
A friend of mine told me that the Salvation Army sometimes gives financial help to families in need and in emergency situations. My family currently fits this exact definition. I have been very sick with a multi systemic illness since August 2021 and as a result have been out of work since February of 2022. I have not received a paycheck since this past August, as the insurance company is playing games and trying to find any possible reason to deny my disability claim.
I am going to be evicted from my home within the next week if I can't pay the past due rent I owe, my utilities are going to be shut off including my phone which is my only means of contact.
Also my car is about to be repossessed and it is my only source of transportation to and from my medical appointments. I am desperate and have nowhere else to turn for this emergency help for everything...
I have 3 children, a 16 year old son, a 14 year old daughter, and a 12 year old son. I have nothing for them for Christmas and no money to get them even 1 thing on their lists... Their father passed away last August and he was my only other source of income/support for them. They are amazing kids who have had a very tough year.
They deserve a good Christmas and it kills me that as of right now, I am unable to give them a Christmas at all...
I have always tried to instill in my children the true meaning of Christmas, that Christmas is about giving and not receiving. For the past 13 years, I have taken my children to pick a gift for a needy child in the community the same age as each of them, they would also pick 1 item from their own Christmas lists that they would like to give rather than receive. We've always left these gifts at the family’s door on Christmas Eve, wrapped and tagged "from": "The Spirit of Christmas".
We have always donated to Toys for Tots, the local church, and countless other wonderful charities. :: This year however I am unable to help any other family, as my own family is very much in need of help, and I am praying that the "Spirit of Christmas" finds its way to us... It is so very hard for me to ask for help, as I truly enjoy being "the helper”.
But I have no other choice as we are suffering from quite a few unforeseen emergency hardships with everything and very close to being homeless the week before Christmas.

I am trying to get immediate help for myself and my family. I recently lost my job due to the business closing down. The owner of the business was arrested for domestic violence and was not happy with my wife and me helping his wife during this time. He made a false report to cps about us, canceled our payroll checks, sent his friend to our house with a gun, and threatened our friends. We have been able to straighten out all of this and am still waiting for the payroll to be replaced back to us and have been told it can take up to 90 days, and we need food and housing until then. I have not been able to find a new job, and I was recently in the hospital and seeking immediate help. I received a 5 day eviction notice, my wife and I have five children and nowhere else to go and don't know what to do. I currently owe my apartment complex back rent because a few months ago section 8 back dated my rent to where I ended up owing the apartments. My portion changed because when I moved here I did not add my brother to my lease. I did not add him because he kept holding it over my head that he wouldn't leave as long as his name was on it. I had to kick him out due to his use of meth bringing it around my kids and him stealing from me and stores to support his habit. I received a 3 day and I do not have a way to pay it. I need emergency assistance. I live in Clarksburg West Virginia, 26301.
I have a bad and unique situation, I make 12 dollars an hour, yes that is above minimum wage, so worry about not meeting financial criteria. However, my bills are as follows.
200 a month for my vehicle payment.
400 for rent on a 1 bedroom house.
Gas is 35 a month. Electric is past due, which has been terminated as of 7/13/2016.
The electric company won't restart service unless I pay 309.60$
I honestly don't know what I can do except reach out for assistance.
My driving gas to and from work is 50$ a week.
Food rate is 40$ a week.

Hello, we are struggling and now in an emergency situation. My husband was diagnosed with MS a couple of years ago. We have been trying to stay above water ever since.
I work full time, am a part time realtor, and he does get disability income. Still not enough. He has old car, we recently had to get me a car with the help of my mom to help make payments as I need something reliable to get to all locations. I make $13.50 hour, he gets roughly 1100, but then his insurance comes out, so really closer to $900.
House payment is covered by this at $560, and cable which he needs since he is home all day since he can’t really work. Plus car insurance, Duke, water, garbage, groceries, car payment, we are drowning. I can't get Duke paid down for anything, and can't lose power. We do not qualify for help thru our county, they say we make too much but we have nothing, I roll change all the time. We need help.
We have repairs that need done to our home that he can no longer do, we need a roof. The list goes on and on of our financial needs. I have tried to get financial help for this emergency, but I do not know what to do. Please help. Thank you. I am emailing from work but again thanks to mom I do have a phone. Since your significant other may be getting a paycheck in two weeks, you should ask a charity for an emergency loan.Do not use a payday company (as the rates are too high) but ask a charity. Or even try a credit union. As the money can hold you over on your rent and utilities. Also try an emergency food pantry for food. Use this for more information on emergency rental assistance and other crisis services.

So what are your plans to pay the rent on your home in Contra Costa next month in August, and in September, etc. What are you going to do to become self-sufficient. We do not call people. You need to seek agencies that may have the rent and/or electric bill help you need on the main site, and then call them to apply. Also, you can work more than one day per week. Even if you can't get a full time job, many employers are doing whatever they can to hire staff. So combine that approach with assistance programs that help with bills, and together you may be able to get what you seek.
