We are currently at a motel and rent is paid for next six days then we will be homeless. We lost are jobs and are home we rented in Nashville so we came back to our hometown to try get jobs and start over and mow were out of money and have sent our children to my mothers so they're stable until we can get a apartment or something.

We don't you work? Even people on disability can work. You need a job or a source of income so you can afford your rent, and there are plenty of positions in Columbia South Carolina. If you don't want to be homeless then you need to work for it. So give that a shot. Good evening. I live in Fredericksburg, VA.
I live in a house that I am renting. I recently retired from the Marine Corps. I have not been able to find a job. My rent is 1750. I am currently two months behind plus $900.00 from previous months totaling $4400.00. I have been given until the 15th of this month to make good on my rent or be evicted. Also the people that I am renting from will be moving back into their house May 20. I have no where to go. I have a pregnant wife and no where to go and no money to secure another place at the present. I just need some help to get back on my feet.

My husband and I recently separated. He is on SSI and I have no income, but have applied to Social Security as of yet. We survived on my husbands check which was $720 a month, $500 of it went to rent. Now that he is gone, I have no idea how to make the payment. I cannot work, and Social Security takes their time. I am homeless. I have a little bit of money saved up from working through the holiday as well as my boyfriend who also is homeless and has a little saved so we can get a place together. I just got a new job and I am trying to get a place as soon as possible because it is getting COLDER and COLDER outside by the day. Good afternoon, and I really need some help getting my court order eviction paid so that I and my family, including my 10 month grandson, not to be put out of my apartment. I do believe that I have emailed you before for this type of help and never got a feedback from you.
Could some one from your office get back with me to help me get my rent paid for the last four months. The Miami Dade Housing Agency, screwed up my paper work when I recertified this and they knew that I wasn't able to pay for the rent that they say I should pay which is $400.00 a month in rent. This screw was based on a food stamp print out of $347 a month in food stamps.
I want some help today if you could help me out. I am getting ready to be evicted at the end of the week if I don't get the money today. Please give me a call.

This is in reference to your ad to help out with our back rent. I had got hurt and missed an week of work, got a short check and been playing catch up, but can't . Really need help to make up for this shortcoming. Have received two late letters from the office and waiting on the eviction notice from sheriff office, any day now. I am a laid off Union glaziers, married with 3 kids, 2 girls both 4 one about to turn 5 and 1 boys who is nine. We are having real financial problems and today was told by are landlord who we owe $940 still for this month and $1400 in the 1st but till the 5th grace period so we are desperate.

I get unemployment $500 something a week and my wife works as a waitress at a diner. She does OK but not enough. Not working us what's hurting me but my union is slow. I have never been in this spot with pay $940 ASAP and $1400 by the 5th then late fee of $140. I don't know if I'm rambling or how any of this works it just happened a few hours ago but someone suggested "Google " homeless prevention and I found this. No matter what thank you for your time.

I am on the verge of being homeless again, I was living with my boyfriend in Atlanta, GA and he broke up with me and kicked me out of his home, I had nowhere to go and only a little money saved up. I just started a new job and I am living in a hotel and I need help, next week my money runs out I don't get a paycheck until the 4th of May. Unfortunately singles do have less options and few programs available to them, in particular when it comes to housing. The dog may also make it more difficult for you. Have you considered a roommate or talking to the landlord to prevent the eviction? Maybe they have a payment plan for you. Also look into credit counseling for those loans. But there may be some rent type programs for you. In the meantime, read more eviction prevention.

I am desperate to get help with my rent as I am a single mother of four kids and have two currently in my custody full time with the other two part time. I have been looking for a job for 6 months now to support our family but cannot find work that will pay the rent and utilities and support my family. I am in Indianapolis, IN & desperately need help with my rent, as I am having surgery this month & have been under doctor's care for the last 18 months. The local trustee doesn't assist on rent to own leases anymore, as I haven't been to them for help since October 2012 (although Obama is trying to end homelessness-they are just promoting it ). I also have car problems, possibly fuel pump going out & no one to help. I am at my wits end. I have no family to turn to & if I lose my home I will be sleeping in my car at 45 years old with 2 dogs.

I am 25 years old. I have full custody of my 14 year old brother. I’ve been on my own since I was 18 and even though it's been hard doing this alone it's made me a stronger person. For the last month my brother has been really sick in and out of the hospital so of course that required need to take off from work. I got behind in my bills before I realized it. I really need help just this once I can't been homeless while taking care of my brother. I've worked really hard to get to where I am today. My rent amount is $890.00 my rent is due Thursday morning 07/13/2013 or the eviction proceedings will begin. if you can help at all I will gladly appreciate it. Thank you and god bless.

I am a 51 year old single woman, who is unable to get help from certain programs because I have no family living with me. I am struggling to pay my rent and am looking at an eviction soon. If I was 55 I would qualify for low income housing. As it is I feel as though I am at an age group that is left in the dark. The only family member I have is my little dog. I am drowning in school loans and am unable to find a job in my field of study. Please someone (God) please help me before I become homeless. I also have many health issues going on.
