Try Energy Outreach Colorado now, as their bill assistance runs year-round and they specifically help people who are already disconnected. The HEAT HELP number is 1-866-432-8435, and Atmos Energy is one of the utilities they work with. Also call Atmos directly at 888-286-6700 and tell them you are 60, working, have no hot water or heat and are trying to get assistance for the roughly $450 needed for reconnection with all our details on this page here for Colorado programs that help with utilities.
