Re: Need dental care and can't afford it so what do I do?
Hello, my name is Lidia. I'm reaching out to you guys to see if I can get any information about dental help. I'm in desperate need. I'm due to the removal of a tooth. I was denied by the Maravilla Foundation. I was short on my application and qualifications, not really familiar with the points. I have a kid under my care who depends on breathing oxygen, I have a part-time job, and on public assistance, I have not been able to receive any help for basic dental, much less surgery stuff. Any guidance you can provide me with will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Re: Need Dental Care
I need serious help. I am now beyond need of needing dental work done but I have no insurance. I did have disability insurance through MO health net but when I was finally able to find a doctor who helped me I was diagnosed with sinus tecnicardia with my heart and chronic anxiety which don’t work well together. I also have ADHD.
So I wasn’t seen as disabled and I don’t have that insurance anymore but it didn’t pay for dental anyway. Then my husband got a job at Walmart distribution and then lost it so that insurance will be lost as well.
I have always taken care of my teeth and went through braces and now I’m 27 and my teeth are just rotting out in which is told to me by my grandmother to be genetic that hers did the same thing and that she had false teeth before she was thirty years old.
I have had them filled but the filling just falls out as my teeth decay and then I’ve been told I need them capped. I do not know what I need or who I need to talk to but I’m tired of being in pain and my breathe stinking and feeling nauseous all the time. I can’t eat for sure on one side and now I can’t even brush them. It hurts too badly so I use a wash cloth.
weigh 105 right now. I have not weighed this since adolescence. I just want to feel better but I do not know where to start. Please help me the best and fastest way possible. Please and thank you.

Hi,
Since you mentioned you are a "good christian girl", then you may qualify for health insurance from one of their cost sharing groups. Many churches and Christian as well as Catholic groups are creating a quasi insurance product to help people of their religion. It can cover some dental needs...though it mostly will focus on medical bills. Find details on the Christian health insurance.

I had a heart attack on Valentine's Day also. February has been the worst. I have one grown son and his wife just had my first grandson. I am not even allowed to hold him because they are afraid I will drop him. They won't help either because they can't afford it and live too far away. I was abused by my husband and have severe mental issues due to the abuse he put me through and the PTSD from the nightmares I still suffer from my dad dying right in my arms. When I broke my neck and back he scalded me in the bathtub then just left me in the tub and left for a week without even a goodbye.
I lived in Pennsylvania then because his job uprooted me from my hometown I lived in my whole life. My family didn't even believe me when I told them what he did to me. I got as many therapies as I could find and started fighting back against him. He was on drugs and alcohol so he never remembered what he had done to me. We were married for 8 very long years. I went to college at 39 and began to learn to walk again with all the pressure to get to class on time. I took medical classes to learn how to fix my numb leg so I could get away from my abuser and I didn't finish school but I stayed until I got well enough to leave him.
It took three years to get on disability so I had no money or a car to leave with. As soon as I got my first social security check I bought a car packed it full with me and my dog (he also abused her) and we left him returning back to my hometown Cleveland Ohio. I now am once again in a very desperate situation because my resources are so limited.
I live in a decent but small mobile home with a roommate. I am suffering with my teeth and of course my neck and back injuries. My quality of life is terrible and I'm practically bedridden. I struggle just to take a bath. And I need help desperately and immediately for my teeth mostly, food and electricity. I have a car but I can't drive because of the medications I take are narcotic. If there is anything you can do please contact me today or at the soonest time possible.
Thank you sincerely. I've never asked for help before. I worked for 15 years before my accident and haven't worked since. I did put my only child through college by myself and he went off to Auburn in 2012. The accident was in 2013.
He is making good money but most of it pays his student loans, his bills and for his wife and new baby. I would be happy to make phone calls or stuff envelopes for you to repay you or anything else I could do. I am a fighter and right now my mouth hurts so much I feel like giving up. Please help me. I would not ask if I were not at my last resort! Thank you and may God Bless You for the work you do for Him!
Best regards,

Re: need dental care
Many health care plans in California do not cover dental needs. Or the patient needs to pay the majority of the bill. So if finances are a challenge for you, then call a free California dental clinic. They also help the homeless too, as they need good teeth as well!

Re: Need Dental Care
Clinics can often pull teeth. We are not sure if they will have dentures or not, but you can ask them. Most of them are run by volunteers and operate as charities, and they also help the disabled too. The dental clinics may charge some small fees, so maybe they will take a portion of the $200 you have. But it depend on many factors. So try them first, and locate free dental community clinics for your upcoming needs.

Re: Family dental care
Many residents of Alabama are still uninsured when it comes to dental care. IT may be as high as 30% of the state has no coverage. Those that do have insurance for it often have inadequate plans as well, that will not cover the entire bill. Try a clinic. They can often give free cleanings. Some churches in Alabama may offer have hygienists that volunteer to help the low income. But find a listing of free dental care sites in Alabama to try.

Re: Family dental care
Hi. Do you, or do you know of any place that can help with dental payment? My insurance covers all but the deep cleaning that I need. I have gotten help from one church, but my balance is $664.00 and I do not have this kind of money. If you can help with dental care, or know of any other place or places that can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Family dental care
I live in McHenry County, IL. I have serious dental issues in my lower jaw. I am missing many teeth and the ones that are left are broken. I have infection at the base of all the remaining teeth, which is affecting my overall health. I have consulted a dentist and due to some complications, which would require surgery, I have been advised the cost to me would be $8500.00. I need assistance with this. Do you have any suggestions of any organizations that might help me?

Family dental care
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am seeking dental care for myself and my husband. We are casualties of the economy, having had various jobs with no insurance or just enough to get some dental work since 2009. We are older, and yet not old enough, and I currently clean medical offices while he is not employed, 61 years old and a veteran. It is sad.
I live in Mercersburg and will travel. Keystone Health and Dental nearby will help only if we pay them, and we can't. I have pieced together teeth and missing back ones after a car accident in the 90's.
I hope you can help.

Re: Need Dental Care
I need help getting dentures or just getting my teeth pulled what I have left anyway.
I'm trying to live on Social Security disability that money just doesn't go very far.
So I guess what I'm asking is for help in my dentistry cost.
At $200 of two to be Paul I'm never get available for that so I look and if you dental schools but thoroughly half priced in a lot of dollars is too much.
Dentures I'm not sure but I think they said $1500.
So if there's any way you can help me I would appreciate it.
60 years old single and try to remedy the situation without teeth it's hard.

I am in need of help with dental work and some oral. I have dental insurance but it does not cover it all. I need a place that will work with slipping scale and /or give me a payment plan. My teeth are in awful shape. I need them all pulled and some will have to be done by an oral surgeon. Please get with me as quick as you can. They are causing health issues.

Re: Need Dental Care
So that sounds like you need that wisdom tooth extracted. If so, a dental clinic can usually perform this activity. If your income is low enough, it will normally be done for free to. This is not that complicated of a procedure so a clinic may be able to help in this case. You must not have been searching in the right place as we have thousands of clinics listed! So use our site to find what you need for your dental care and needs. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... inics.html

Re: Need Dental Care
I am inquiring about dental work I need on a front bridge and #6 tooth. I am a senior age 57 disabled and cannot work. I want to save my front teeth (upper teeth) and sure wish I had a pretty smile. I have a 3 unit bridge that doesn't look right and is bulky, thick and unattractive. I am a survivor of domestic violence and the other. I was unable to keep focused until I finally found the women's center for non-violence where I go for therapy and it helps a lot. I just wish my front teeth looked nice so I might could get married again. I think I would like to date but am scared. I have been divorced since 1989 and struggled to raise my only son without child support nor a vehicle. I have been a volunteer worker for 25 years (elderly/disabled) and mission ed for god into this due to I never got paid but blessings meant more. Confidential intended only for the person who can address this dental need to an indigent divorced single woman who would be so thankful if there was a resource to get my front teeth fixed. God Bless and Have a Nice Day!

Re: need dental care
I have a good job and work hard but I ran into health problems about 2 months ago. I didn't have enough PTO to cover it and I have fallen behind on everything. My sweetheart has two teeth that need to be pulled and have been causing her extreme pain for over a month. I have insurance but she doesn't. I have no money to help her and I don't know what to do. I finally scraped rent together by pawning almost everything I owned and I still owe on my gas and power bills which may be shut off soon. I'm back to work but it will take time to catch up. I just filed bankruptcy and I am trying to make a fresh start. I can't stand to see her in pain and I don't know how to help. I am so overwhelmed and owe so many different bills and I want to help her too but I can't. Any ideas would be great. I looked into donated dental but it's a lottery and she needs real assistance. Not just the possibility that her name might be drawn. If you know of a dentist who would take payments please let me know so I can help her. I work hard and will be able to pay them payments. Thank you.

I have a wisdom tooth that is infected. I have been dealing with on again off again pain, and infection for about three years. I don't have the money to have it removed, and have searched for dental clinics, but can't seem to find any. I also need a eye exam. I only have one contact lens at this time, because I can not afford to go for the for glasses and lens. My eye glasses are very old.

Re: Need Dental Care
That does seem like an excessive price to have surgery one one tooth, especially if it is a sliding fee scale. Three root canals is also a lot, so not sure if a dental clinic in Springfield Massachusetts will help with all of that, as it would be a lot for them to take on. So we do have phone numbers and addresses of additional community and dental clinics in Springfield, and you can find them here in Hampden clinics. Call around and see if they can provide you free dental care, or maybe they do know who you can call for assistance.
Commodi wrote:Hello,I was wondering if there is help for me to get 3 root canals done on my back teeth,I am in lots of pain I have been trying to find low income based dentists to help me by taking cash payments on a weekly bases, but I have not found a oral surgeon that can help me.I am a patient at the Springfield neighborhood Health center in Springfield,ma they dont do root canals. They gave me a sheet witch has a list of oral surgeon's on it.All of the dentists say they offer a sliding scale and they don't turn anyone a way due to inability to pay,but hey turned me away, they want $700.00 a tooth to do the work.I cant afford that all in one payment at the time of visit..So I am turning to you for help if you can help me with any resources such as Charities,Non profit or Government programs, some type of funding?? I have mass health Standard for health and dental also some type of health safety net they dont cover anything but extractions and cleaning and x-rays so I am pretty much out of luck,I hope that changes sometime soo..I have been praying to god to help me

Re: Need Dental Care
We have some ideas, clinics and places you can call in Tennessee. Whether they can provide the dental care you need we are not sure, but you will need to make the calls and see what they can do for you. First of all, here is a listing of dental clinics and centers in Tennessee.
If those locations can't help, here is a comprehensive listing of various financial assistance programs and resources that are located all across TN. Find free health care, social service agencies, and much more.

I am looking for a place in or around Sevier county TN that will offer dental care for free or very low cost. My problem is that I badly need a cleaning. Also more importantly will need antibiotics due to what I believe to be periodontal abscess on my gun line due to an infection at the site. Most places I have found so far only offer extractions (which I DO NOT want at all) and also have a waiting list a that spans at least a month. This is an infection that needs to be dealt with asap before it spreads to the rest of my body. t is very painful as well. I can not afford much at all. I have been unemployed since Jan. and barely scraping by. I have no family/friends to help with this. Medicaid is not possible due to not having kids or being elderly. (I think )....I will be going to DHS tomorrow to ask for help....but who knows how it will go?
Please, if anyone knows of any programs, charities, or anything to help let me know.
