Thoughts on using a security deposit guarantor?

The main NHPB site has more information on local rent assistance programs.

Congrats on getting approved as that’s a huge step, especially with how hard rentals are right now.
Since you’re in Henrietta, definitely ask the leasing office if they accept help from local DSS or emergency housing programs toward the security deposit or guarantor fee. Monroe County sometimes has housing assistance for families trying to move out of hotels or unstable housing situations. You may also want to ask if they’ll allow the deposit or Liberty guarantor cost to be split into payments.
Hopefully getting into the apartment soon will actually lower your monthly expenses. I really hope this works out for you and your kids.

My credit score is too low to qualify for apartment in my own but the Henrietta Highlands here in Henrietta, NY offer a company for people in my situation get the apartment of their dreams. I’m paying for a hotel suite weekly which keeps pushing me away from securing the apartment. I may use a $955 for guarantor company named Liberty if OK.
