Moving and rent deposit help is not common, even more so if you are homeless now with we assume a lower-income from house cleaning. Have you tried a shelter? In addition to that, we do have a list of rental assistance programs in San Luis Obispo. Maybe they can either give you some funds or other options.

My name is Brandy. I am located in San Luis Obispo County California and need more information please on deposit assistance. I have been evicted from my last place, where I had section 8 assistance. I had problems with the landlord and when I surrendered my apartment, she said I did not therefore I lost my section 8. It’s been a struggle, I am a single parent and I am homeless. I would appreciate any help with resources to point me in the right direction. I do work, I clean houses, so I have an income and I am trying to get my section 8 back but not being successful at it.
