That is a lot, and that is great you are trying to take care of your pets and not just give them up. But obviously housing is more limited, so you may need to make some hard choice. We have a dedicated page of housing programs for both renters and when looking for a home, so try that. Also try a site like Zillow (https://www.zillow.com/rent/renter-search-center/) as they have a pet friendly "filter" you can use to find a rental unit.

From January 27th, 2015- April 7th, 2015 we were unfortunately homeless living in our cars. We have a "fur baby" family (1 dog) so not many would help us with housing. And most had no funding and I kept getting the run around with resources. I was finally able to find someone who said they pay a deposit and most of rent if we moved in. So, we did. We are all on a lease. Well I caught him doing heroin?? I haven’t seen him since. It’s been 4 months. He still paid his 3rd of rent up until this month. And because he didn’t pay I had to take it out of December rent. I’m going to be short on December rent and when I told my landlord she said, "if rent isn’t paid in full by December 15th we will no longer rent to you" I’m going to be late. Plain and simple. 2 days late. I cannot come up with part of it. I can’t.
I’ve reached out to so many churches and because I’m not a member they turned me away. All the resources who say no funding available and give me numbers to places I’ve already reached out too. This is a one-time thing as I’ve been promoted at work and got more hours and more money. Unfortunately, that won’t help for December rent. I’m ok on food - I have food stamps now and was able to pay my utilities. I’m on a low-income thing with SMUD. My roommate came in the middle of the night 2 weeks ago and took stuff. Including our fridge. We have been using a tiny mini fridge. Please let me know if you can help as if not my family will be homelessness again and so hard to find fur friendly landlords – our dog. I was referred to you by my amazing Uncles brother who is a member of a catholic church.
Thank you and god bless
