Need affordable housing and rent help in Denton County

Hello,
Single mom with 4 kids? Are you getting any child support or help from a spouse? There are ways to stop an eviction in Denton County and they also combine that with rehousing - even including section 8, etc. But if you have 4 kids that may also be a little challenging, as to how will you sustain the home? Either way try it.

I am a single mom of four kids currently in the process of being evicted and I have to be out by August 24. The place that I live in is not currently in my name so any rental assistance I would not be able to apply for myself since I’m not on the lease.
I’m looking for housing or assistance to find affordable housing for myself and my four children. Credit is an issue of buying an apartment to approve me. That is why I had to use someone else to put something in their name for me to live there.

I also need some kind of assistance with my children. Three of them are small children. I have one that is an infant, and I need help with all of the essentials right now as I am currently unemployed since I lost my job in June.
I also haven’t been able to get my kids any type of school supplies or school clothes or anything for the school year that’s starting next week.
I really need to know about any resources at all in my area that I can tap into to help me while I’m trying to get back onto my feet. I did get a new job offer that I’m supposed to start next week but I’m not sure where I will even be living at this point so if you can provide me with some resources that I can be in touch with to help me and my kids out that would be greatly appreciated.
