Need school supplies in Bakersfield CA

We are in great need of school supplies for our 2 kids and utility assistance. My husband just lost his SSI and will not be getting his check for the month of June. I have paid a partial payment of 80 of the 201 that is due by 31st of May. They gave me an extension until May 31. Then I have 2 kids going to elementary school and need backpacks, clothes and school stuff.
I get paid on the 3rd but half to pay rent in full or was told we would half to move out on our home in Bakersfield. We have four children and nowhere to go. So, in great need of paying for the rest of my electricity. Need help finding churches or anywhere that helps my kids get school items – they do not need much. There are clothing closets and charities in Kern County, including Bakersfield of course, that will often have free school supply programs. Since your 2 boys are so young, would assume their needs are lower so hopefully you can find some supplies for them on here.

Hello, my name is Brittney and I'm in need of help this back to school year in Bakersfield CA. I have 2 boys. One is my son and he is 12 years old. The other is my sister’s son and he is 10. We currently need some help with school supplies.
This year has been a crazy year for my family. I lost my job 3 months ago & then decided to finish up my schooling for medical assistant at Bakersfield community college. I am not employed right now. I do currently get unemployment every 2 weeks & it goes right to the bills. I'm trying to make school season for them great with clothes and supplies so they are not ashamed.
