Hi Tequila,
We have information on renting, even if you have bad credit scores or past evictions. Find bad credit homes to lease..
There are also some rehousing and first months rent assistance programs in Charlotte which you may find useful. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... _coun.html

Looking in Charlotte for affordable apartment with my evictions

Post by Margielee »

Hello,
My name is Tequila and my boyfriend, Keith, my two kids (son 3, DJ and daughter 4 months MJ) and I need a place to live in Charlotte by this Friday.
I am a Dance Teacher (full time) and Keith has many positions at Lowes. We are currently looking for somewhere to live on the east side of Charlotte. Right now, we are living in an extended stay on Independence Blvd. We no longer have the funds to pay for the hotel next week, so we must be out by noon on Friday.
I have an eviction on my record from 3-4 years ago. It’s a total of $1600. It’s hard to get an apartment and a lot of private landlords want over $1400 down for a security deposit. So, I am asking for financial assistance. Either assistance with paying my eviction or helping with a security deposit for a private landlord and/or helping me find an affordable place that will accept my credit and rental history. Is any of this possible?
