Re: Transitional housing units are full so need a shelter

Post by Lucent »

Good morning,
I am reaching out to inquire about rental move-in assistance for one of my clients to a transitional housing program. They will be moving into the WAV, a City of Ventura project with 30% AMI. Currently, my client is residing at The ARCH of Ventura homeless shelter but it is now full.
Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,

We have dozens of shelters and short term housing programs listed for Georgia. Now they may also be full as the demand is high, but you can call around and see what they say. Some may also have information on security deposit programs to pay for low income housing. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... housi.html

I have two children and I have been approved for an apartment, and I have the first month rent but they told me I have to have a security deposit which is the same amount as the rent. I can't afford it right now and me and my kids our in need of a place in Georgia as soon as possible. I am a low income family. I have been trying to get into a transitional housing program for a month but they are full. We we have tried homeless shelters for three weeks and me and my kids have not been able to get through to anybody. I have nowhere else to turn.
