Re: Need money to pay rent in DuPage County, Illinois

My children and I are in dire need of help. We have just been evicted from our home in Wheaton IL of 5 years. I got sick and had to take time off work. Putting us behind. I have to find a new place as our 3 days to pay, or vacation are out tomorrow, and we have yet to find a place. I was able to find a trailer 40 Minutes from where I work. But I do not have the money to move in. She will not allow us to move in without $800 dollars. I have tried everything. She will not let us move in and allow me to pay her procreated at the end of the month. I have run out of options and have no other place to turn.

I need one-time assistance in DuPage County, Illinois. I am facing eviction, and my working checks will not be enough to cover my total due on 09/01/24. If I am evicted I will have no place to live. I have been in this apartment for 3 years and always paid my rent on time, but my job cut back hours and gig work is not enough to make up the difference.

Hi,
One time rent assistance is usually more available than say long term rent help. Especially since you have a job but a short term hardship. Look here for places in DuPage County IL that offer rent help.
