I’m really sorry your family is dealing with all of this at once. For the eyeglasses, try looking into programs like New Eyes or local Lions Clubs in the Cleveland area as they sometimes help children get free glasses or exams.
Since eviction is so close, I’d also contact your county’s emergency rental assistance or eviction prevention office as soon as possible, especially since both you and your partner were injured and out of work.

I’m writing to you for help. I was injured at my job in March and have been unable to work.
My family and I are facing eviction in 11 days and my kid needs eyeglasses and I do not have enough to pay it. The eye doctors here in Cleveland Ohio are so expensive. I only collect workman’s comp and my partner works but has also taken time off to care for me. Please, I am in despair. I don’t want to my son to lose his eyesight or us our home. I also have 2 other children. Thank you and god bless you. My partner just recently was injured and can’t go back to work. Thank you for any help you can give

My name is Latoya Trueblood. I am a diabetic who had trouble paying for her eyeglasses in March of this year. It's now on May going on June! In March I purchased my frames and put $60 down and has since had trouble paying for them!

Yeah I have OH Medicaid / CareSource. They said they pay for the eye exam for people with diabetes but not the eye glasses! I guess it's a new thing!
