Re: Baltimore City and in need of rent assistance please
Hi. My name is Erin. I am writing this email to ask for help with my rent next month. I am a single mother of two special needs children living in the city of Baltimore (and not the county). Also a victim of domestic violence. I have suffered 2 concussions from this and was diagnosed with PTSD. I have inquired about getting help with my rent through family and other organizations in Baltimore but they were not able to help me. If you could, it would be a blessing. Thank you for taking time to read this.

Hi,
If you get rent help for this month, to your point you need to always get assistance for the next ~400 days (~12 months). What is your plan to get housing for then? As no charity, not in Baltimore or anywhere, will pay the rent for 2 months. Anyhow, sorry to read about your medical issues and here are some places you can try for temporary rent help in Baltimore City.

Baltimore City and in need of rent assistance please
I had emergency spinal surgery on June 4, 2024. At this time I have no disability income. I applied for disability but it takes up to 400 days to get a response. At this time I would need help paying my rent for about 6 to 8 months. I receive SSI retirement, but it's not enough to pay my rent. I'm trying to get help before I get behind on my rent. I am totally disabled and cannot work being I had spinal surgery. I live in Baltimore City. I just got approved for my place and unfortunately I had emergency surgery. I would like to receive information on places that can help me with my rent.
