The government does have a nationwide program known as Lifeline that is offered in all states, including GA. The phone companies and manufacturers all participate, including T Mobile, Apple, etc. While the program won't "give you" $550, there may be a free older model iPhone as part of it. Hi I’m emailing you today to find out if you offer Assistance for residents of Lee County Florida with phones and clothes for a job. My husband and I are currently unemployed and we used all the money we had saved to get into the house we are in now. We were supposed to have had our rent paid but we haven’t had the means to pay it as we lost our jobs.
Now we need new jobs, but had to sell much of our stuff to keep up with the rent. So we need phones from the government Lifeline program and not sure where or how to get the best models? Do they offer the newest iphone or what?
I am currently pregnant and have tried getting help from other places and government social services but haven’t had any luck. We owe money on all our bills and can't buy work stuff or clothes or phones.
