Where can I get rent help in Lubbock TX?

I live in Lubbock, TX. I currently am fortunate enough to have a friend of mine let me live with him, but my closest friend has just for the first time ever, became homeless. My roommate is allowing her to stay with us until Sunday but she is also behind on her rent. She is also going to be getting a vehicle near the end of the month with her income taxes. She is a CNA and is currently applying everywhere.
She is a Lubbock county resident. She has medical assistance. I am going to help her maybe get on a food stamp government program. She has a lot of potential, no family to help her. She's 24 and struggling with her rent, never been homeless or through something this hard and so alone. I am trying to help but I can't do more then I'm able. I've read your website and I am emailing you to see if you could assist her with a hotel/motel voucher for a place in Lubbock or rent. Like I said she is Ok here until Sunday. There is a homeless prevention program in Lubbock County. Maybe your friend can benefit from that. We are not sure if it helps with mobile homes, but you can try. Hi,
I am only 19 and don't have much money and live with my parents. My friend is almost 30, has an 8 year old son, and just about to have a baby girl and she is living in a motor home now in Lubbock County. She can no longer afford the rent to park the motor home and connect to electric and water. I feel horrible about it and want to help her as she has absolutely nowhere to go now in Lubbock or anywhere in Texas. She has no family alive. Is there any way you could help her pay her rent?
