If you own the home outright (no mortgage/loan) then you must have a ton of equity in the house, as real estate in Norwalk and CT is costly. Can you take out money from the home to pay the property taxes? Anyway, while downside to that too, it is an option. Hello, I am losing my house in a delinquent tax sale. My home is paid for, I have no mortgage. There are programs in CT to help people with delinquent mortgage payments, but no programs for people who owe property tax.
I am currently trying to get a loan to pay, but due to loss of my job, it’s taking a long time. I need time to get the money. My house is going up for sale in September. If I don’t get the money by August 25.
