Re: Where to get help with car repairs in Louisville KY?

Post by Sasha Saint »

Hello My name is Maggie, I live in Grayson County KY. I'm in a bad situation and I’m needing help pay my car insurance this month as well as repairs including new tires. I've been separated from husband and since I’ve been homeless, I am employed at the Family General Store, however I only work 1-2 days a week averaging only $160 a week and my insurance is due and I don’t have the money to pay it or the new tires. Any help I would be greatly appreciated.. thank you and God Bless..

Hi Brandy
Car repair programs are very rare. And getting a new vehicle is even more rare! But maybe try the community action agency, which can be found here. Maybe they can either (1) help you fix the car or refer you or (2) give you say a free bus ticket for TARC, etc. for travel in Louisville. But try that community action agency here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... y_act.html

Where to get help with car repairs in Louisville KY?

To whom it may concern:
Hello, my name is Brandy and I was on the website trying to find resources that would help me in Louisville either repair a vehicle I already own or to acquire a different vehicle entirely. I recently found out that I am pregnant and am desperately in need of reliable transportation so my new car needs to be fixed - brakes and tires. I really don't have any family that I can rely on other than one sister who is experiencing financial hardship herself. I receive Social Security Disability benefits in the amount of $857.00 monthly along with SNAP benefits. After paying expenses for the home, along with the utilities, there is hardly anything remaining to fix the car or pay for a new one. If there are any programs in Louisville Kentucky that would assist me in this matter please contact me. Thank you for taking the time out to read this email and God Bless.
