I've called all the shelters and they are full. Only ones are for men and I can't leave my family. Can you possibly help us with a place for a family or hotel and motel vouchers for a week or two while we look for second chance apartment programs that will give me a chance. Hi, I'm a single mother of a 10 year old boy. I believe I have found an apartment for rent in DeKalb county TN and I go Monday to fill out a packet to rent at this place. But my credit is not great and I was evicted before. I just need the landlord to give me a second chance as I am more stable now.
I'm just emailing to see if I can get help with the deposit and first months rent. I'm a caregiver and get paid bi weekly a decent salary and the job is stable. I just don't have the money saved up and we are needing to have a second chance at our own place. We are currently living with my parents which are not in good health.
