I am a 75-Year-old single senior whose partner of 38 years passed away. seeking an at home job.
I’m from CT/NYC and have moved to MD to be closer to family.
I spent our last savings on two cemetery plots, so that we would be eternally together, his funeral expenses, and my moving expenses to Maryland. I now find myself in need of rental assistance but find that most county rental assistance programs no longer offer moving assistance.
My niece’s husband, who is Jewish, suggested I might appeal to you for moving expense and apartment application fees. After researching, I’ve come up with a need figure of $2500.00.
I am also seeking some kind of part time remote employment, preferably remote, or any onsite clerical, administrative, receptionist, to augment my monthly Social Security. I hope with this achievement I will be better able to sustain myself and give back to help other in need seniors.
If there is any way your organization can be of assistance, I would be forever grateful.

Re: Losy my remote job
Well there are fewer and fewer remote jobs, and competition is hard. Companies want workers back into the office, but also look into a side gig. Those can be done remote too, and find side gigs from home.

Losy my remote job
Hello,
I found your details through the website: needhelppayingyourbills and I could really use immediate assistance.
I'm a recipient of Unemployment Insurance because I lost my (remote) job in January 2023 and have been unable to secure any employment opportunities since then. My situation is very specific because I was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) in 2019 and unable to work on-site due to some of the symptoms I suffer from with MS. I'm ineligible for the Social Security Administration Disability because they say I'm able to work, but they're not concerned that I can only do remote work (I have a letter from my MS Specialist/neurologist to prove this).
Everyday I'm diligently searching for remote opportunities and I'm getting very worried as my Unemployment benefits run out for Feb. 2023-Feb. 2024 next month. I'm two payments behind on my rent already and have major issues paying my phone and internet bills....both of which are essential for me to search for remote employment and a new work from home job. Please let me know if there's any assistance your organization can assist me with. I live in Central LA (Koreatown)
