Can't qualify for a car loan

My name is Ralph, I'm 62 and on SSDI. I only get 14,000 a year for me and my wife to live on. Last week our 2012 Mustang blew head gaskets and I can’t qualify for a car loan. That is our only car, right now we are without a car without a loan to fix it.
Our car might be 18 years old, but it’s all we got. We use it to go to doctor appointments and to store, it only has 98,000 miles on it. I called several garages and the quotes I got were $2000 - $3000. I don't expect you to pay the full bill, I'll pay what I can. Even if you can help me pay half of it or a loan for it, will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a good day.

Sounds like your challenge is credit problems. If so, get out of your current auto loan first. Then go to credit counseling. It is free, if your income is low enough. Then talk to local banks and lenders for the new loan.

I want a loan to purchase a used Toyota from the Craigslist Cars for Sale, in Augusta, GA. I want a Toyota, because even thou my Purchase maybe a 1997 thru a 2002, or 2003, the mileage will be very good, what is what I really must have for work.
I am looking at a no interest Charitable loan for the car or a Charitable Emergency Christmas Gift-- which will be immediately repaid in January thru March. You have helped me save my Job, gainful employment, bills, and Housing.

I had to quit my job because my car kept breaking down. I do not qualify for a car loan. Is there any assistance for car repairs? My husband and I are really hurting financially because of this. I need to get some income, he is on disability. We are stuck living in a nothing town and I have to commute to anywhere to work or anything else.
