Black River Electric Co-op bill

I am writing to get a list of organizations that help Black River co op customers - seniors who are disabled to get electric bill. I have an autoimmune disease that causes me not to be able to see too well and all I have to search on is my cell phone! Please help me by emailing me the list. My power is going to be cut off 4/19/25. I have injections that must be kept in the refrigerator.

I currently have been unable to work due to health issues and am struggling from month to month with what little money I do make. I woke up with my children this morning to find I'm without electric. Good Afternoon,
I desperately need assistance with my utility bill. My utility company is Black River Electric Coop in Sumter SC. I am 55 years old and I am employed with the South Carolina Department of Corrections. Last year, my gross income was $24,145. My average utility bill is $400 a month and I struggle to pay it every month.
I live in a very modest 2 bedroom apartment with no working central heat and/or air. I am not at home during the day as my work hours are 8-4. I have tried everything I know to figure out why my bill is so high but I can't get a reasonable answer.
When I try to get assistance from any local agency, I am told my income is too high. I suffer from diabetes and chronic diabetic neuropathy and struggle every day. I don't know what to do or where to turn but my situation is critical. Any assistance would be helpful. Please contact me as soon as possible.
