Stuff for my kids

Post by Noonetoblame »

I was wondering how I get a referral to get help from you if I don't have any case manager. I recently just got into housing last month for my and my children, but we need stuff for the home. I was homeless in a transitional shelter before that for a few years. I am slowly getting back on my feet but barely making ends meet.
I would really appreciate if you could assist me on any resources on getting free school supplies and school clothes for my two children. And any house hold items or furniture's. Any help on furnishings and kids items will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

What type of "stuff" do you need? As based on that, that will determine who to call. As it may be a charity, a furniture bank, thrift store, etc. But we recommend you start here, with a free furniture program.
If that does not work, then maybe try the Salvation Army. As they have thrift stores in which you can buy low cost stuff for your children. Good luck,
