Hello,
I have been struggling with my rent for the last few months, especially December. My boyfriend had a heart attack last month and before that I was in and out of the hospital for my seizures. I am behind on rent and I'm trying to go to work, but am not making enough to make ends meet. I just got over covid, and was able to start working again but then my dad had a heart attack and was discharged from the hospital and now he is back there again. I am so stressed and I'm not sure what to do to make my rent. I have tried with Salt Lake Utah housing authority, as well as Utah community action and neither will work with me. Is there any way that you could help or work with me?

Good morning, I am in desperate need of assistance with my rent paid for November and December which is 2200.00 that will cover November, December and any late fees. I have several medical conditions that makes it hard to maintain employment in Salt Lake and applied for disability just waiting on appeal. Also was in a very verbal and mentally abuse by my ex partner who lied. Has put me in the hospital for 3 months. In addition to being HIV, Diabetic, Narcoleptic, Depression and neck infusion.

There are several agencies and non-profit firms in Salt Lake Utah that you can contact. Review the link below. I do suggest starting with the Salt Lake Community Action Program (SLCAP) Phone number (801)359-2444. They run programs, and can be a good starting point. They can refer you to other local agencies as well.

Another agency to try in Salt Lake is St. Vincent de Paul Resource Center, (801) 363-7710)

I have a letter from my doctor confirming my condition. I will able to work again, if I can find employment, in mid-August. As of this moment, I have no income except for a small amount of child support and alimony...not close to my rent amount. I have no family here and nowhere to live if I'm evicted. Please advise!
