Re: Emergency Rental Help

Post by Chipper »

Hello I’m writing today because I need help! I am being evicted Wednesday unless I can come up with the past due amount I owe! I am a single father of three kids. My girlfriend lost her job a year ago and I’ve been struggling ever since. I am a student but I can’t even finish classes right now because I need to work and my job has cut back hours! I just need to insure that my kids will have a roof over their heads and be safe!!! If anybody out there can help by Wednesday please......it would be greatly appreciated!

I need financial assistance in paying rent. My family and I got a 3 day notice to either pay rent or leave. I’ve been doing my best to pay the rent and have gotten back tracked 2,300 dollars which includes the month of December. It’s a 1200 dollar a month apartment and I make 1400 dollars a month. I have 3 children ages from 2-5 and in desperate need of assistance to keep a roof over their heads. Please contact me.

Dear good people,
I need emergency rent assistance to avoid eviction on 2/09/2013. I'm back to work this week, after a longer-than-usual layoff. I'm 55 and terrified. I'll be grateful beyond words for help. I pledge to pay back any assistance I receive. Live in Texas.

Please I beg you to help my friend who is 55 years old, under Doctor Care, living in her car without heat, and she is on a fix income. No one will rent to her because of her not having a job or enough income. Please again, if you can't help her, give someone else her phone number to help all she needs is a place to live, call her own get out of her car, get out of the cold, her income is like $900 a month. Her Doctors are out there, she needs to stay near them. Thank you for reading this.

Need assistance please to pay rent, as I have the United States Department of Labor, and Treasury Department working a complaint against my former employer who embezzled money from my paycheck, falsified my time sheets and paycheck, and defaulted on an agreement with the Department Of Labor and Treasury Department. So it is not my fault that I am behind.

I need help paying my rent where I'm staying at now. My wife recently removed me from our home and I have found a long term temporary place to stay. I am currently unemployed but I am looking for work daily, I also have two children that I have custody of from a previous relationship. I am required to have $400 by the 25th of this month to keep the place the children and I are staying at. Anything helps thank you for your time and god bless.

I have just received a 72 hour notice for my rent to be paid or vacate. I start a new job on Tuesday the 26th of June and I came out of a serious domestic violence relationship. So I am safe here and I just need help to catch up on May and Junes rent along with the deposits. I will be able to pay rent from there on out.I owe 4900.00. Can I please get some assistance? or do I need to go back and depend on the people that put me down and beat me?

I just moved to the Las Vegas Nevada area from NY. I was able to get my own apartment and job. Then i lost my job due to economy. My parents are not in the region and i don't have anyone to lean on in Nevada. To keep from having my stuff thrown out on the street, i am looking for assistance. I am having trouble keeping my lights on, food for myself to eat and paying a rent that i could afford before i lost my job. If at all possible, can i receive some assistance. I already tried the local Community Assistance Program and they said they could no longer help me. I am at the library trying to find a job as soon as possible but i don't think i will be able to get paid before the rent is due, nor will my lights stay on through the week.

Hello,
I have a friend who lives in Virginia Beach. He was told that he has until May 235 to pay his rent or she has to be out of his apartment. Is there any way you can help her pay him rent. Or know of an organization that can help him. He has an 8 year daughter and a 3 year old son. He would pay it back the money back over time, and would sign a loan agreement.

Don't let people move in and out. Find a roommate, and have them sign a lease to help offset your expenses. Have them contribute towards your rent. That will be a big help. Also look into assistance programs for your county here. http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/aut ... _prog.html A number of options and services may exist for you. Praying for miracles will not do much good for you. You need to take some type of serious action in order to get help. Look into energy assistance programs for bills like LIHEAP, and explore all of your options.

I live in Pattville , AL, you can call to verify that I'm behind and they keep adding on late charges and I have so many high bills in this old house that I just can't get caught up. People keep moving in and out and leave me with all the bills, I have been praying for a miracle but times are so hard and a job is so hard to find when you have breathing and back problems and sleep apnea, I stay so depressed and feel like nobody cares about me anymore. I know that God has his Angels watching over me and will take care of me so that I can keep my home even though it is falling apart.

That is expensive rent for Virginia. Trying to get $1500 to pay back rent from any agency is a lot to ask. Places usually give $50 here, or a $100 bucks there. Never that type of cash or funding. However you can locate information and ideas for Hampton Roads Virginia area emergency rental assistance. Can you just drive to the local church, as that ensures they need to see you. They can ignore a voice mail, but can't ignore a face to face visit. You are welcome for help and suggestions.

DSS will not help me because I am working and have a small income. I live in Hampton, VA I have 2 children at home 18 and 12. the 18 years who is a senior this year was just sent back to us after being in a school and she is special needs and needs hand on care and cannot be left alone. My youngest is doing great. My husband has been out of work Since February and things are beginning to snow ball and I don't know where else to turn. I had one local church that was pretty positive that they could help but, I have left multiple voicemails and they are not returning any of my calls. I really don't want to put out on the street and I am begging for someone to help me. My property manager suggested I reach out. Thank you in advance for you time and consideration.

Can you get some other cheaper help than the $361 for in home care. That is expensive. How about government Medicaid or something? Anyway, while you look into cheaper alternatives, find more rent assistance in Memphis and the agencies to call. Keep calling around to other local resources and non-profits. That is key.

This is the first time this has happened to me where I couldn't pay my rent and need help. I am very scared and dont know what to do. I have had my PCA check on local resources but no funds available at this time. Please Help. This was typed by my PCA because I am paralyzed on my left side and can't type.

Use this to find emergency rent help by city and county. http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/eme ... tance.html Did you apply for unemployment between jobs, as it is meant to be a safety net for people in your situation who have lost their jobs and need some short term help. Good news on getting a pretty good job.

Is Alexandra in Arlington County? If so, then here is some information on Arlington assistance programs. Follow link for a couple options, but looks like the leading place to call is Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS). Also, for some more general information on assistance and rental programs in Virginia, try this for statewide resources. http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/vir ... grams.html
