need help with mu BGE utility bill

I called the local St. Vincent's store in Baltimore and they gave me an ad county number. I called left a voicemail for utility assistance but no one returned my call. We are in dire need of help my step daughter has many problems and has been having suicide ideation December and January my husband is our only provider and has been needing to take more time off for his daughter since he is her legal guardian and needs to sign all paperwork. We are swamped with late bills for BGE and credit cards and need any help you can provide we have been praying and trying so hard to keep our faith up. If you could please get back to me I would appreciate it. God bless

We are not willing to help. But we offer information on BGE assistance programs. They have many for people that are in a difficult time, including MEAP, payment plans, and more.

What did your utility company say? Many have programs to help people get back on track with utilities, maybe help reconnect power, etc. Find a listing of Maryland utility assistance from all the power companies that operate across the state. There are programs like the Universal Service Protection Program (USPP), the HeatShare program from Columbia Gas, and others.
Also, call local agencies in your county for aid and/or advice. Here are non-profits in Maryland. Scroll down the page and select your county.
