I work 50-60 hours a week and get paid weekly but living in the state I am it's hard to save any kind of money. I would be able to pay my rent every month at these apartments with no problem. Re: Need of a security deposit
There are several security deposit assistance programs in Bucks County that you can apply to. Even though you are homeless, do you have a job? As asking for $399 is not a lot of money if you are employed, and your chances of getting help in Bucks County will be increased if you have an income.
Re: Need help wih security deposit and first month rent
I am in need of security deposit and obtaining either a section 8 rental assistance program or subsidized housing. I am 54 years old, permanently disabled and have been on the section 8 waiting list for the last two years however they messed up and didn't include I was disabled, which I feel has prevented me from being contacted by now and very unfair.
I would appreciate any help you have to offer for deposit or first month rent. I am currently paying rent to a girlfriend to stay with her temporarily, but the sanitation conditions are not good and I need to move into a low income based apartment ASAP. Thank you,

Re: Security deposit voucher
My question is this, are there any programs that could help our family with the deposit of the home and the first month’s rent? I can't tell you how many times a day I pray for guidance and relief for my children. We are good people, we've simply hit a rough patch and need a voucher. I can provide references from our previous landlord, the manager of the hotel, pay stubs as proof of employment, a death certificate to prove my Mom has passed, my childcare's birth certificates... We can't seem to pay this deposit this without help from a voucher. We can pay back any source that we go through in time.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for simply reading this letter.
May you have a very blessed day!

Re: Need of a security deposit
I am a single mom with 3 children. We are currently homeless and need assistance with the security deposit for the apartment I have applied for. They can only hold the unit for me until 6 pm tonight. It is $399.00. We have been gone for weeks and this could help us out tremendously. Thank you and I hope to hear back. God bless.

Re: Security deposit assistance programs
There are rent and security deposit programs in Buffalo that are run by many agencies. But if you are getting evicted, it will be hard to get help as any program will think it they assist it is throwing good money at a bad situation. You better have a plan in place for stability. That is probably the only way and Erie County New York security deposit program will even consider helping you.

Re: assistance getting security deposit and first month rent
I am a single parent to a 3 year old toddler. My daughter, my 26 male cousin, and I are sleeping on couch to couch. We moved here from Hawaii but did not have the deposit then. Need help with finding a place for us. We have no vehicle. Our family won't help. He just started working but we don't have any money to get a place or car.
We would need help getting a place, money for the security deposit and maybe a vehicle and if I work, I would need help financially to help pay for day care. We just moved so don't know if I qualify for anything. I need help because I can't be moving couch to couch with a toddler.

Re: help with app fee and deposit for upcoming apartment
I live in Battle Creek, Michigan. I am disabled and I receive SSDI. I need assistance with first month rent, the lease application fee and The Department of Human Resources will pay my Security Deposit. Can you help find an agency that will pay my first month rent as well as app fee so I don't have to be homeless for another month in order to save money for first month rent.

Re: Need help wih security deposit and first month rent
The deposits of rent, pet fees, security, etc. are 4 times more than the monthly rent? Why is the difference so high. Also, since you have lived with the significant other for many years, just stay there a few more weeks and save that income for the moving costs you have. Or you can use the money to pay down those debts. Many of the non-profits that offer security deposit help can also counsel you on those needs too, as they want the tenant to be stable. So try those options, and locate financial help to pay security deposits.

Re: Need of a security deposit
Well, if it was a lease violation, then the management office can evict you. Even if you blame it on a guest. If you have those 2 kids, some programs may help with a security deposit. But this type of support is not common. Anyhow, locate the grant programs to pay security deposits and waht agencies to call to apply at.

Re: need help with deposit and first month rent
Maybe the best place for a security deposit grant is from the Washington homeless prevention programs. They often help "rehouse" families too. Especially if you were in the military and served the country. Maybe they can negotiate that with the landlord as well, and locate Washington security deposit help from homeless prevention programs run by charities.
Re: assistance getting security deposit and first month rent
I am a mother of 2 kids who is trying to move because I really don't have a stable place to stay. I am receiving (TANF) and (SNAP) at this moment trying to move in my own 1 bedroom apartment so I can have a stable place for my family at this moment. I really need help with my security deposit in my first month rent. I will really appreciate if someone can help me at this moment. Thank you.
Re: assistance getting security deposit and first month rent
I'm in need of assistance in a security deposit if $700.00. I've currently just gave birth on December 21 and I work but due to my maternity leave my job does not provide any leave benefits. I am on a program for housing but have to provide my own funds for the security deposit. This would be me and my four children's Christmas gift since I was unable to provide them with anything for Christmas. Thank you!

Re: Need help with rent/deposit
Looking to moving from my apartment that is mold infested. My sister who lives with me was hospitalized for inflammation in the lungs and has difficulty breathing. Looking to rent another apartment but the security deposit is very costly and I do not have the means to pay the deposit. I want to move as soon as soon possible because my landlord takes no precaution to prevent or fix the problem, especially since many other tenants in the building complain of having mold and are also sick. Please help me to find a grant. Thank you.

Re: Need help wih security deposit and first month rent
I work for two nonprofits and am a full-time student with financial aid. I make very little money and am having to move from my home of 5 years due to personal issues with my significant other. I have credit issues, and debt, and am unable to afford move in fees or deposits. I look to rent a house or duplex with a roommate, and once both jobs begin to pay better, I can afford $650 per month for rent. Deposit, application fees, pet deposits, and first month rent is estimated at $2500. I am looking for financial assistance to help me cover the cost to move into a new place by June 15th, 2015. Any assistance or input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance for your time and support.

Re: Need of a security deposit
My family is being evicted because of a incident that happened at my house involving a guest and someone he invited over. We had nothing to do with the incident but rental office was notified and it was a violation of their contract so we have a week to move....we have two small children and need a place I’ve looked online at one bedroom apartments with a price range of 450-500. We would like to move into something before the 14th but don’t have enough for the deposit and first month.

Re: help with app fee and deposit for upcoming apartment
I had a fire back in August, and my disabled brother and my sister were put out of their apartment. It was condemned and is going to auction. We decided to pool our resources together. I found a 3 bedroom apartment in south Dallas and the rent is 900.00 a month.
I make 800.00 a month and my brother is on social security and makes over 800.00. My sister has applied for social security so I know we can cover rent and utilities, but we just need help with first and security. If there is anyway you can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
