Coos Bay only has like 15K people, so resources are of course limited. Try the community action. Or for maybe the most options for rent / housing, we have a Oregon rent assistance by county resources on the site that also lists statewide programs.

Hope you can help us! My partner and our 4 small companions / therapy dogs are living in a motel have been living since end of April. We are struggling to pay weekly rent for motels. Pay for our staff. Pay insurance on vehicle insurance and get food for us and dogs. Household stuff. We just want a house with yard to rent for us and our 4 little dogs. We wanted to get a loan to buy a place, but credit messed up and tried to get them take off stuff not mine. All that takes time to stress to mess with it. My partner’s ID and social security were stolen years ago and his is messed up too.
We are in Coos Bay, Oregon. Would buy house but family members messed up our credits. So that's why I can't do that. Housing really messed up here. Not many houses. Places in Coos County want first month's rent/ last and deposit. Some even want you to make 3 times the rent. I only have my income and I'm low income but work full-time. My partner has a lot of health problems and has taken my job and takes care of our dogs. If you know anything that can help us, get into a place would really appreciate it. So, stressed out and worried. If I had help with getting into place I could make it then. But paying for motel way too expensive then have other things too. Worried going lose everything and be homeless. Stressed and so worried and scared.
So please if know any services or churches that can help or know of place can rent. I would really appreciate it. I pray you can help or know someone that can.
