Getting help with a security deposit is not as common as getting rent assistance in Chatham County, but you can try. I was inquiring of assistance with security deposits and first month’s rent in Savannah Georgia. I am currently living with a friend and lost my source of income and currently looking for work in Georgia. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated. I have contacted my local 211 and no one is able to assist with the rent piece due. I have also gone to local churches in Savannah and to the school where my kids attend and no luck. Look forward to speaking with someone soon.
