Jonathan, if you haven't already, report the identity theft at IdentityTheft.gov and put a fraud alert on your credit reports. That can help while you're disputing the debts. If you can share your county or city, people may be able to suggest more local programs. Hope things get better for you soon.

I was able to settle a Citi credit card debt for about 55% of what I owed. The balance was several thousand dollars. One thing that surprised me was they gave me up to 12 months to pay the settlement amount, which made it a lot more manageable.
