Residents of Sonoma County California that need help feeding their families can turn to local food pantries. Many of them are non-profits or charities and offer the low income and less fortunate with free items, such as boxes of food, groceries, and hot meals. Or families can contact a center for information or referrals to programs such as CalFresh food stamps or USDA programs.
The hours of the centers vary as does exactly what may be passed out. It is usually recommended to call in advance.
