Clothing closets in Miami Dade County.

Clothing closets across southern Florida and Miami-Dade County provide free clothing, vouchers, and other support to families and individuals. Churches, charities, and non-profits administer programs that pay for or provide secondhand or new clothing to low income families and children.

Some of the centers serve as clothing exchange programs. This means that they administer programs that gather, sort, and distribute items to partner agencies, including charities, across Miami Florida. In addition to the clothing, locations may also have, or sell for low cost, furniture, school supplies, personal hygiene items, and offer free Christmas assistance. While not as common, professional work attire or uniforms may be offered. If your income is low enough, or if you are homeless, then items may be provided for free.
