Clothing closets and furniture banks across southern Florida and Miami-Dade County provide free clothes, vouchers, school supplies to children, household furniture and other support to families or individuals. Some also have free furniture along with baby supplies including diapers. Churches, charities, and non-profits administer programs that pay for or provide secondhand or new clothes as well as other stuff to low income families and children.
Some of the centers serve as clothing exchange programs. This means that they administer programs that do everything include gather, sort, and distribute items to partner agencies, including charities, across Miami Florida.
