Free food banks, soup kitchens and pantries in Yamhill County.

Get free food in Yamhill County, including applications to Meals on Wheels, USDA commodities and SNAP. Distribution centers help struggling people with no money as well as low income families. The towns and communities of rural Yamhill County have charities that help feed people today. Find a food bank near you in Yamhill County Oregon.

Most of the grocery, food ,and meal distribution sites are located at small charity organizations and/or churches, and they will also require an appointment to be made. Depending on the Yamhill County food bank or pantry, some centers also provide other supplies to clients. There may be everything from free dog or cat food to Christmas toys or meals, applications to SNAP food stamps, baby formula, eggs, and hygiene supplies. The Care and Share program is the formal name of the regional food pantry. It is part of YCAP hunger prevention services. An appointment is needed. The non-profit also have information on job programs, government grants, SNAP, and even financial aid such as LIHEAP.

A client choice food bank for residents of the zip codes of  97116 and 97119. Fruits, vegetables, meats, and more. They also hold Thanksgiving and Christmas meal services, or have small toys for kids.

The charity has a clothing closet and emergency food pantry. Servings are only made once every 5 days. There are also Thanksgiving turkeys, free winter coats, and Christmas toys from Angel Tree.
