South Central Wisconsin transitional housing programs.

When facing homelessness, a transitional housing program may be able to help you. Resources are available in several counties such as Dane and Rock and really the entire south central region of Wisconsin. Housing programs are available to the general public that qualify and some additional resources are focused on veterans, single parents, or seniors.

Non-profits will also have case managers and/or volunteers on site. They will offer families advice, guidance and case management. Staff will help ensure clients have a plan in place to find a permanent home in the near future. This is often a requirement of the transitional housing programs as they are intended to be short term solutions. Some of the non-profits will also require a financial contribution for rent from the clients.
