San Marcos and Hays County free food pantries.

Food pantries that are located across Hays County will support income qualified families. If the centers have enough resources available, then they will provide free groceries or food based on the household size. Anything supplied from one of these non-profits should be considered to be supplemental food items only, and not the families primary source of nutrition.

The contents of a box passed out will be both canned food items and fresh fruits. Volunteers will also direct the clients to everything from job training to government benefits, such as WIC vouchers or SNAP food stamps. All of these services are combined by the local pantries in an effort to help feed less fortunate residents of San Marcos Texas and surrounding towns in the county.
