Rockingham County free Christmas help.

Several churches across Rockingham County can help during the Christmas holiday. In addition, residents can contact their local town office for assistance. Whether it is a free toy for a child or a hot meal for the entire family, support is provided. This will of course depend on an application being submitted on time, and approved by the charity running the program.

Find information on the leading charities to contact for assistance at Christmas. Hundreds of children are generally assisted each year, and most are given a small toy or maybe article of clothing. When it comes to the parent, they are often given a basket of food and ingredients so they can make their own Thanksgiving or Christmas meal. Or if the person has no place to go, then a free meal may be served at some of the churches.
