Midland County rental assistance.

Homeless prevention services, in the form of emergency rental assistance in Midland County, is available for families that are struggling with their housing costs. Tenants across the county can meet with a case manager from a non-profit or government agency to find what programs can help them with their security rent or a deposit, if that is what is needed.

The organizations to call are below. In most cases, an appointment will be needed. All funds for assisting with back rent are limited. Many of the agencies rely on state of Michigan or federal government grants as a source of funding, and if that money is not available, no families will be assisted.

Any help for rent will be combined with job programs and budgeting for the tenant in question. In addition, due to limited resources, funding will often be prioritized for individuals such as homes/apartments with children or a senior citizen in Midland County.
