The community clinic provides dental and/or medical care to Liberty County residents who reside within the Indigent Health Care boundaries. The center ensures that needy and low income residents who can’t qualify for other state of Texas or federal government medical assistance programs receive basic medical care from doctors and nurses. Repair the Breach Ministries will help assists low to moderate-income families, the poor, teen mothers and senior citizens with food and clothing. Operation Refuge, Inc., which is located in Cleveland Texas (dial (281) 592-6701) provides groceries and food vouchers to those needing assistance.

Liberty County is served by the Brazos Valley Community Action Agency, Inc. This non-profit is an agency that can provide financial assistance and cash grants, as well as information on local charities, federal government and Texas programs. Call them at (979) 846-1100.

  • -The agency offers a medical clinic that is involved in offering quality primary and preventive health care to the medically under served of the Brazos Valley Texas community. Medical professionals provide a wide variety of service to the low income and poor in the community.
  • -Various utility and energy bill assistance programs are also made available. Gain access to crisis assistance programs which can help with paying electric, water, natural or propane bills. Of course there are criteria and  households must meet specific program criteria in order to qualify.
