Rental assistance is available across Fort Bend County from non-profits as well as charities. The agencies will tend to limit the services to residents that live a certain zip code. There are programs that are available that can stop an eviction. Or learn about grants for paying back rent or the utility or security deposit on a new home.
Even if one of the agencies below can't assist, then they may offer referrals. The locations will usually have staff on site that are more than willing to offer support services, even if they do not have money for helping with a rent payment. Another option for residents, including veterans and those with children, will be the transitional housing.
