Stark County Ohio food pantries.

Food pantries in Stark County and Canton Ohio provide meals, groceries, and free food to the needy and low income in the community. Some of the programs provide other forms of emergency assistance as well, and others can offer more ongoing help. Local  non-profits that run the pantries can refer struggling residents to case management, benefits such as SNAP food stamps, and also give referrals.

In addition to food banks, many churches, non-profits, and charities across Stark County also provide support to the needy. They may distribute food, clothing, and other forms of assistance. For example, some centers may provide Thanksgiving or Christmas meals and gifts, baby formula, furniture, or clothing. If the food pantry doesn’t provide these items, they will oftentimes know who you can contact for these forms of assistance.

The sites are open limited hours and will restrict usage. They also rely heavily on donations and volunteers from the community, so please give back when you can. Fresh fruits, breads, meats, formula, holiday meal preparation and similar goods are always in demand from donors. The leading places to call for food assistance and information are below.
