Dona Ana County food banks and pantries.

The resources available from Dona Ana County based food pantries are extensive. The charities and non-profits that operate the sites can provide assistance in an emergency. The staff can not only offer a free or affordable bag of groceries, but many offer referrals to long term financial aid programs or SNAP food stamp intake sites.

Clients include immigrants, senior citizens, the working poor and children. There is a strong demand for free food in Dona Ana County, and the charities do their best to provide this help. But the centers will often have other support available as well, examples being clothing, Christmas meals, and free personal hygiene items. The food banks in the area tend to take a multifaceted approach to helping families living in poverty.
