Find details on free or affordable health centers, clinics, and medical services in Tucson and Pima County Arizona. The centers, many of which are charities or federally funded, provide low-income families, people on Medicaid or the uninsured with free or cheap medical or dental services. Locate free health and dental centers near you in Pima County.

The assistance provided varies. There may be walk-in patients accepted, free medical care for women’s needs such as OB/GYN, medications, telemedicine, help for diabetics and more. Or get free dental from dentists, including extractions, root canals in Tucson AZ, preventative teeth cleaning and other support. Other medical services at a free or low cost community clinic may be offered on a sliding fee scale, which will bill patients a lower rate on their medical expenses. The free community clinics in Tucson AZ help people with no health insurance, low-income families, seniors, kids or the homeless. The health center can usually provide primary health care for patients of all ages, including adults, kids, and immigrants as well as Spanish speakers.

United Community Health Center
A federal government qualified health center that will help anyone in need. They have multiple free or affordable clinics in Pima County. Get access to a free clinical pharmacy, Family Practice and Pediatrics, Routine Immunizations, Diagnostic procedures (including lab work and x-rays), and more. Other Pima County services include health maintenance exams, free RX prescriptions, geriatric assessments, psychosocial services, health education and referrals and PAP Smears or colonoscopy screenings.

The patients will need to pay towards their medical bills only what they can afford to pay and nothing more or less.  The clinic can offer free check ups, physical examinations, flu shots and/or immunizations, and also free diagnosis and treatment of common ailments. There may be dental cleanings, free widdon teeth removal in Pima County, or prescription drugs for low income people, immigrants, uninsured/underinsured or other medically underserved populations in Pima County.

VA Southern Arizona Health Care
They help veterans in Pima County get free or low-cost medical, dental, therapy, and more. The VA centers provide non-emergency, outpatient medical services as well as in-patient care. Many clinics also have dental, mental health, diabetes treatment, insulin and pharmacy services. Look here for free government insulin programs.

El Rio
The El Rio organization of Pima County has several locations around the county, as noted above. A number of medical, dental and health care services are administered. The free community clinics are part of the Federally Qualified Health Center, meaning no one is turned away based on ability to pay. The clinics offer, among other things, free medical care, lab work, physicals, and family planning and health care. Various doctors, nurses, and medical professionals are part of the government qualified clinic.

Pima County Health Department Public Health Nursing – This government affiliated agency offers numerous medical care programs. There are free immunizations, TB screenings, STD treatment or diagnosis and more. Or get help applying for free insurance from Medicaid or other indigent dental or medical in Pima County.
