You need to make an appointment for food bank/grocery assistance. All appointments need to be scheduled on Fridays from 1pm - 2pm. Distribution of food and canned or fresh groceries will be the following Wednesday between 9am and 1pm.
Applicants can decide to make the appointment at the pantry either in person or by phone. Attempts to make a grocery appointment at the Ministry by leaving a voice mail cannot be honored.
Free food, surplus USDA commodities and groceries can be provided at most once every 30 days. If you have an emergency, then requests should be accompanied by a letter from a referring agency, such as social services. Other programs offered include clothing bank, Shower and laundry facilities, including transitional housing community and homeless advocacy.
