Free food banks, soup kitchens and pantries in Bibb County.

Individuals who live in Bibb County Georgia, regardless of religion, background, or income, may be able to receive free food or government commodities from local pantries. Many of the centers are located at, and run by, churches and other non-profits. Find how to get free food near you in the Macon Georgia area today and learn about government benefit programs. There is also a phone number at the bottom of the page for more information on free food and hunger prevention programs.

Each food pantry is open only certain hours, and has limited resources. But there may be fresh produce or dairy items, or baby formula as well as free personal hygiene supplies. Even if one of the centers can’t meet your need for some reason, they can often refer individuals to other programs. Ask a staff member at a non-profit to learn about additional Bibb County, state of Georgia, or federal government programs like WIC, summer meals or food stamps.

Some of the locations in Bibb County will also offer other resources, such as clothing, baby formula or diapers, and maybe most importantly referrals. The pantries combine free groceries with hot meals, including at Christmas or Thanksgiving, to help feed the less fortunate.

Central City AIDS Network offers services only for HIV and AIDS patients. Their immediate family members may also receive help, including food, meals, and referrals. Some referrals to medical programs may be provided too.
