Free food pantries in Barnstable County.

Whether it is a charity or church operated, free emergency food pantry near you (listed below) or applying for public aid, such as SNAP food stamps, families across Barnstable County have resources available to them. There are food banks and soup kitchens that can also deliver meals to seniors or the disabled in Barnstable County. Many of the locations will offer other social services as well, including school supplies, clothing, free diapers, and meals for students during their school or summer breaks. There is also a phone number at the bottom of the page for other programs.

Some of the primary food banks in the area are below. There are a few locations that will require appointments to be made, and other centers will offer assistance to anyone that drops in. Priority is normally given to low to moderate income families with children or a senior living at home. Also, the Barnstable County pantries will often want a client to be working towards addressing the root cause of their hardship, so resources are available to assist in that capacity as well.
