Rental before eviction and any help with pay lenders who loaned me rent assistance out of personal fixed income. I still have back rent. I had some personal hardships with theft. SSI issues and raised of rent notice after 6 months after rectification appointment of last year. Did process in June for August to pay move in of 2014 bill for 324 dollars on the door in November.
My lease reads l was to have 30 days’ notice at the time of raise, or I will be homeless. Did not receive any had to use my St Vincent and YWCA resources for these. My mom got sick and had to help her not lose her home of 40 years and l have had knee and other health issues during all this.

I have tried Salvation Army, CCS, and St. Vinneys for help with Security Deposit and First months’ rent. They all told me they don't help with that. Can you give me any other names of places that might help? I live in Eugene, Oregon/ Lane County. I have been homeless for 3 months living in my car.
My SSI/Disability check isn't enough. I was homeless but just got section 8 voucher so if l can get help getting in l can do it. I have until next Friday to get this together or l will lose it. Well Thursday l need 200.00 and the rest Friday. Please any info you have that may help me. Thank You.

If Saint Vincent paid for a hotel for 6 days, you should be very grateful to them. That is incredible and most have con\st them a pretty penny. Maybe go look for a shelter on your own and be self-sufficient instead of waiting on them or asking others to help ypu. You need to address your own problems to end your cycle of homelessness. But if you needed more information on Saint Vincent, read more.

I'm trying to find out some information on what the Society of Saint Vincent can do. I need to know if anyone can help me with my water bill as well as furniture for our home. I have found myself in a very hard time in my life. I do have a job my girlfriend lives with me and is working part time and going to school and my 2 children live with me as well. We live in a 2 bedroom house and all the bills are so high that we can't catch up with any of them. We need items for our 2 bedroom home, including furniture.
We asked the water company to put us on a payment plan and they said they could not. So at this point they have cut my water completely off. I have called numerous places to help such as Metropolitan ministries, Health & social services, Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul, and St. Mary and no one can help. I live in Tampa, FL and it seems as if no one can help me and I'm in a horrible bind. I never been in a situation like this and I really need some help. Please contact me.

St Vincent de Paul put us into a hotel for 6 days, we were told that we could possibly get into the homeless shelter Monday, but they are still full. We have nowhere to go as if Right now since there are 3 adults and 2 children. They also provided us with two Kruger cards that are now empty. We aren't sure what to do at all, sleeping in our vehicle with the children wouldn't be good. Please email me back. Thank you And God bless.

St. Vincent De Paul has thrift stores which may provide what you need. They have tons of clothing, furniture, and other goods too. While you may need to pay some money for the bed, sheets, and other goods you need, the Society may help. They often even have pantries or can deliver food to people who are along, like you. So try the St. Vincent de Paul assistance programs for what you need.

I've been to your website for Saint Vincent de Paul and I need furniture or clothing, and I am a heart patient in poor health in a HUD apartment, I just rented, here in Van Nuys.
I have a twin bed and one change of sheets, and a folding dinette table, where I sit with one office chair and one in my room, in my one bedroom apartment.
I paid the Cab guys yesterday to help me fill my prescriptions and buy my groceries and get me back home. I live alone and I'm new to the area, so need furniture for my place.
Please contact me because my utility bills should reflect my disability status as a Medicare recipient, and I need your help.
Thank you in advance for assisting me with acquiring the basics I need help with.
Sincerely,

Note that the St. Vincent in St. Paul Minnesota will probably need to visit you to do an in home assessment. They do have a thrift store which you can probably shop at for furniture for your new home. As far as the rent from St. Vincent, that is less common, especially if your hours have been cut with no plan to increase them. But try the charity nonetheless, and information is here. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... e_pau.html

To whom it may concern,
I am seeking rental assistance. I am disabled and receive SSDI, most months I squeak by, but social security claimed over-payment and withheld large portion of check, of which I am appealing. However, I cannot make rent for month again. I have reached out to Caring Place and St Vincent De Paul last month. I have been told the problem has been corrected but can take up to 60 days to process.
Thank you.

Hello,
We have a daily visitor who comes to our church for a sack lunch. He would like to know where he can go locally (Sherman Oaks, Encino, Studio City, Van Nuys areas) sanctioned by St. Vincent de Paul for financial assistance or at the very least bus tokens. He is homeless and would love help with job placement. Previously he worked in labor jobs throughout LA. He is from Guatemalan but speaks good English and is in her mid-fifties. He does not have access to a phone. If you could provide me with addresses he could stop for help, we’d most appreciate it.

Hello. I currently live in the St. Paul area with my 12 year old son.
We have been faced with some pretty difficult issues the past few months with being homeless and some other personal struggles that we have been dealing with. After of almost a year of being homeless we finally found a new place to live but now we are having problems with furnishing it and some other basic needs and necessities.
My main reason for contacting you is rent assistance for the month of August. I have a job but I only work part time and my hours have been cut even more.
It is a bit of a struggle from day to day as a single mom trying to make ends meet but somehow I manage and it is not easy. Sometimes one needs to reach out in a difficult time.
Any type of assistance would be very helpful at this time. I am asking help just from Saint Vincent De Paul because I know about all of the other county and community services and haven't been too successful. Please get back to me ASAP.
Thanks!

I was supposed to get help from a program that seems to not be following through. I'm very despite and in need of help. I've been living on a motel in Ventura California with my 2 year old daughter. I finally got approved for an apartment but not able to cover the down deposit and Saint Vincent fell through. I've been dealing with this other company for a couple of weeks and I feel like they are not going to follow through with what they promised I have 5 days to come up with this deposit . If anybody can help please feel free to call or email. Thank you for your time and god bless.

We have a whole page dedicated to Saint Vincent and their programs. Now each location, including in NYC, will have their own funding levels, some services may or may not be offered, etc. but in general this is what you may find from them. Basically the St. Vincent charity is one of the largest in the country and they help millions of people across the nation every year. Social services, financial aid and other support is provided from them. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... ancia.html

Dear Sir/Madam:
I am in a crisis and I need some answers please. I need to stay in my home for two more weeks while I explore all possible ways to find a job and a new home. I was sure that I would have been able to get some unemployment, but I was denied. I have bills to pay, the management of the apartment wants me to move by Friday 12/2/2013. I do not have money to pay movers.
I am willing to put my things in storage, and find a place to stay, but I needs some financial assistance and I would like to know if you can help in any way. I know St. Vincent De Paul is the nearest charity, but how do I approach them in New York City. Or can you give some advice on what steps I can take. Please help me, Thank you, Sincerely,
